The Attic School of Art was founded in January of 2007 as a
venue to provide fine art of instruction for adults in the
Murfreesboro area. The owner, Kathee Claiborne, was looking
to further her artistic education and realized there were like
minded art lovers and students that would benefit from an
atelier style art school.
The Attic School of Art provides classes for beginners as well
as professional artists who are looking to hone their skills. In
addition to the core classes in drawing and painting, the
school offers workshops in specialized art instruction, and
classes in stained glass painting and weaving.
The school is located in Murfreesboro at 319 W. McKnight
Drive, on the second floor of the Farmer Brothers Insurance
